You Do The Math
With other Canadian operators, while you pay for a fraction of the price of an airplane, you do not have the pleasure of feeling like you own a piece. You actually finance the company to buy the aircraft, you are charged for 12 months of operations but are limited (capped) to the number of hours you can use your fraction. Beyond those hours, you pay substantially more per hour. Below those hours, you get nothing back. Not a fair deal.
Take a look at our analysis and bear in mind, hourly operating cost are not a clear indication of trip costs (the number of minutes or hours your trip takes at 300 mph versus 500 mph is very different) hence the cost per mile is where you want to look.
Lets face it, in the world of fractional ownership, pickings can be slim. U.S. carriers cant fly between two Canadian destinations and other Canadian carriers dont truly offer fractional OWNERSHIP.
We researched it but we welcome you doing the math.
